Darren Bent names the one striker Arsenal should be going all out to sign in January

Arsenal have been in the market for a new striker for a long time now.

Indeed, Arsenalꦑ have been linked with a new centre-ไforward for more than 18 months at this point.

Ivan Toney was linked to Arsenal for a long time, and, sin🎃ce then, more and more links have emeཧrged.

Benjamin Sesko was a target in the summer, while Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Alexander Isak.

Speaking on Inside Gooners, Darren Bent has been dꦜiscussing Arsenal’s striking dilemma, and he says that Isak is the one striker Arsena🅺l should be going all out to sign.

Arsenal should be going all out for Alexander Isak

Bent shared his verdict on 🉐which striker Arsenal should sign

Bent says that Isak is the one player he’d really like to see at the Emirates, and he says a deal could be done if Newcastle don’t qualify for Europe.

“Yeah, I’d go with that. Isak, for me, is ♏the one. And it might not, between the two clubs, it might not be the case because Newcastle, of course, ain’t going to want to sell him,” Bent said.

“But it might come down to the player, because if Newcastle was to finish ninth or tenth this season, Arsenal in the Champions League again next ye☂ar, he might have a decision to make because it’s quite short careers. And yes, he’s had a great time at Newcastle, but a player of his quality, international, should be playing in the Champions League every season. He’s got the ability, he’s got the quality.”

Alexander Isak stats this season

Arsenal do need to🍷 upgrade their number nine position, but, looking a💝t the stats this season, it’s hard to honestly say that Isak would be a massive upgrade.

Indeed, the striker hasn’t been all that br🥀illiant this term.

Of course, it’s still very early in the Premier League season, and if you look at his numbers from last year, you can see why Isak would 🥃be such a good addition for Arsenal.

On the whole, Newcastle have underwhelmed this season, and that has affected Isak’s output, but in a team that is much more ball-dominant and creative,ꦛ Isak would bang in the goals.

Onౠe thing is for sure, Arsenal do need a new striker in order to reach the next level, and who knows? Perhaps Isak will be the answer for Arsenal next summer.
