Darren Anderton says one Spurs player is ‘unbelievable’ but also ‘underrated’
Darren Anderton has waxed lyrical about Spurs captain Hugo Lloris.
The Tottenham goalkeeper became the Lilywhites’ record Premier League appearance holder for the club.

The 34-year-old marked the occasion with a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Wolves.
Anderton was previously Tottenham’s record Premier League appearance holder, on 299.
And he had nothing but praise for the France international after overtaking his tally.
“It’s no surprise to see Hugo beat it,” Anderton told the Spurs .

“He’s such a good goalkeeper for the club.
“There’s always ups and downs with any team but he’s always seemed very happy being at Spurs.
“He’s a World Cup-winning captain, he’s a legend and Spurs are very fortunate to have him.
“Hugo’s consistency has been unbelievable and I think he’s underrated as a goalkeeper.
“I don’t think he gets mentioned enough as one of the best.”
