Danny Murphy thinks £30m Arsenal player could shine if he leaves this summer
Arsenal have endured a quiet window of sorts compared to previous years, yet the final weeks of the summer could prove to be frantic.
Having signed Riccardo Calafiori and offloaded Emile Smith Rowe, Arsenal are now preparing their opening bid to sign Real Sociedad star Mikel Merino, with the Gunners now chasing Bayern Munich winger Kingsly Coman.
With Mikel Arteta in need of signing players and offloading a few from the first-team, Arsenal fans could be in for a chaotic few weeks in the transfer market, with the Premier League season also kick-starting this weekend.
And Danny Murphy has tipped one Arsenal player to flourish if he was to leave this summer.

Eddie Nketiah could excel away from Arsenal amid Bournemouth links
Speaking on , the pundit made the claim that Eddie Nketiah would be a good fit for AFC Bournemouth as a replacement for Dominic Solanke, with Murphy saying on the subject: “I think so. He’s really sharp, hungry, he knows how to finish, he just needs a bit of love and a run in the team.”
With Arsenal keen to sell the £30m-rated Nketiah, the striker could well be viewed by the Cherries as a top target with Dominic Solanke leaving for Tottenham last week in a deal that could be worth as much as £65m.
Indeed, Nketiah has already seen a move to Olympique Marseille collapse this summer, and with time running out this window, Bournemouth will need to get a move on if they’re to land the England international before the market closes.
And with Murphy now giving his seal of approval over such a move, Bournemouth could be about to make their first move to sign Nketiah in the coming days, a transfer that many Arsenal fans will hope goes through.

Arsenal need to resolve Nketiah’s future this month
Arsenal went into the summer knowing that Nketiah was one of the players who needed to be sold, with the forward hardly featuring for the Gunners last season despite an impressive 2022/23 campaign.
With over two weeks until the summer transfer window slams shut, Arsenal are aware that they’re in a race against the clock to offload Nketiah, who could be attracting Premier League interest with a move to France now off.
And with Bournemouth in the money after the sale of Solanke, Arsenal need to be pushing Nketiah to the Cherries in the final weeks of the window, with the south coast Premier League side an ideal destination for the attacker.
