Danny Gabbidon and Swansea fans react as Spurs reportedly eye Joe Rodon
Danny Gabbidon has joined a host of Swansea City fans in taking to Twitter to react to that Tottenham Hotspur have bid for Joe Rodon.
Spurs did not bring in a player before the initial deadline passed. However, they do not appear to be done in this window just yet.
that they want Rodon and talks with the Swans are underway. However, it seems that there is some way to go before an agreement is reached.
According to the Mail, Tottenham have offered just £7 million for the Wales international. Meanwhile, the Swans apparently value the 22-year-old at £18 million.
Spurs may already need to thinking about more than doubling their offer if they want their man. But if it was down to some Swansea fans on social media, they may have needed to be prepared to pay even more.
Plenty believe that Swansea should be holding out for even more. And that is also the opinion of former Premier League defender Gabbidon, who has suggested that a package that could be worth £36 million should be required.
‘Degrading offer’
Meanwhile, some Swans supporters have slammed Tottenham for their reported offer. And they believe that Rodon should have no interest in moving to North London if Spurs value him at £7 million.
