Crystal Palace fans react as club reportedly eye Celtic midfielder
Crystal Palace are reportedly looking to lure Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie to Selhurst Park. New Palace boss Patrick Vieira is a fan of the Scotland international, having first been impressed with Christie last season. Now, Vieira wants Celtic ace Christie again, and Palace fans are in agreement.
Christie, 26, did not enjoy his best season last term but still ended the campaign with 22 goal involvements in 46 outings. The season beforehand, Christie had scored 20 and created another 16 in all competitions. that his form has caught the onlooking glances of Vieira.
The Arsenal legend made a bid for Christie, as per the Record, while at Nice – but a move was knocked back by Celtic. However, this summer, the chances are that Celtic will have to sell – with the 20-time Scotland international entering the final year of his contract at Parkhead.
