Cristian Romero explains the reason why it took him three months to come back from injury for Tottenham
Cristian Romero has been speaking about the injury which ended up keeping him on the sidelines for almost three months.
Romero’s long💞-awaited return from a hamstring injury came 86 days after he picked up the issue and he claims his recovery took longer than initially expected.
The Tottenham Hotspur defender has revealed his frustration at the situati🌟on and how he had to return to his home country to work with the national team’s doctors to speed up the process.
Rꦉomero is not yet fit enough to play both oဣf Argntina’s matches during the internationa♕l break which could see him miss a crucial World Cup qualifier again🅰st Brazil.

Cristian Romero has reve꧒aled his frustration at how long it took for him to get back fit and how he had t🌄o return to Argentina to work with the national team’s medical staff.
The 26-year-old says he should have ret🍸urned sooner than he did, however, further complications delayed him getting back on the pitch.
Romero, who cost £42m, told : ♐“I didn’t have a good few months because it was an injury that I could have returned much sooner from, but nothing happened. Everything became very complicated.
“I’m always grateful that the national team’s medical team was able to get me out of that bad moment an🍒d get me back on the field, which is what I like to do, what makes me happy. I’m grateful to the national team’s physiotherapist for getting me back on the field.”
