‘Couldn’t say no’… Alan Brazil thinks 26-year-old would jump at the chance to join Tottenham this month
Alan Brazil has now been discussing the future of a striker who has often been linked to Tottenham Hotspur over the past month or so.
Surprisingly, it doesn’t seem as if Ange Postecoglou’s side have been too intent on signing a striker in January, despite the interest they are said to hold.

It appears that Spurs will look to add a striker to spearhead their side in the summer, perhaps allowing Son Heung-min to return to the wing.
Any new signing would likely dovetail with Richarlison, if his long-term future still remains in North London.
That being said, Alan Brazil has now been confessing that he thinks one striker would love to join Tottenham in the near future.
Dominic Solanke has been firing on all cylinders in the Premier League this season, scoring 12 goals in just 20 games.
And amid links to Postecoglou’s side, Brazil was slightly hesitant on the move from Tottenham’s perspective, but thought Solanke would jump at the chance.
Alan Brazil thinks Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke would love to join Tottenham
Speaking on this morning, Brazil initially spoke about Solanke’s failure to make it at Liverpool.
He said: “Listen, he was young when he was at Liverpool, he didn’t really get chances a lot and he’s flourished.

“Now, suddenly you’re thrown into the deep end if you move to Tottenham.
“Don’t get me wrong, nothing wrong with Bournemouth but you go to Spurs, you’re expected to hit the net regularly, it’s a big, big shout.
“It’s one he probably couldn’t say no to but I wouldn’t say it’s guaranteed to work.”
Of course, it is interesting to consider whether Solanke would be able to make the step up.
The striker has also been linked with Spurs’ rivals Arsenal, another move which does seem a big step up.
Perhaps Tottenham fans would lean on Alan Brazil’s slight warning, they may want their side to be slightly more ambitious in their striker pursuit.
Respectfully, Solanke hasn’t proved he’s able to do it at the top of the game, even if his Bournemouth form has seen a sharp rise.
That being said, Chris Wilder has now been blown away by a player Spurs really like.
