Could report hint at Leeds’ Tyler Roberts stance?

that Bournemouth were monitoring the £2.5 million Whites forward. It was not suggested whether the Cherries may be keen on taking him on loan or would try and sign him permanently.

In truth, a permanent exit would be a surprise. Marcelo Bielsa has shown a lot of faith in Roberts throughout his tenure. And while he may have struggled, there is no question that he should only get better in the coming years.

But fans were intrigued when the 21-year-old was left out of the squad at the weekend. And the intrigue went nowhere with Bielsa simply claiming that he was unavailable after the game (via ).

So it will be interesting to see how the next few weeks play out. But perhaps, Leeds have offered a potential hint regarding their Tyler Roberts stance.

Another young Leeds player clubs seem to be taking notice of is Sam Greenwood. that Cardiff, Sheffield Wednesday and Roberts’s admirers Bournemouth were keen on taking the under-23 star on loan.

However, it looks as though Greenwood will be going nowhere. that Bielsa wants the 18-year-old to stay.

Keeping Greenwood could hint that Roberts may be available. The pair can both play up front or in a deeper role. And there is no question that the former Arsenal youngster has been one of the standout performers in the under-23s since his arrival.

So Bielsa’s reported decision to keep Greenwood may open the door for Bournemouth should they make a bid for Roberts.
