Could Liverpool tempt Leeds into sanctioning Raphinha deal, by including 23-year-old?

The hype surrounding Leeds United summer signing Raphinha has propelled after he starred during Monday night’s win over Crystal Palace. Other fans – and apparently clubs – are beginning to take notice, not just Leeds supporters anymore.

The 24-year-old, represented by Portuguese legend Deco, has been incredible for Leeds this season since his £17million move from French club Rennes. He has scored four goals, twice against Everton, as well as laying on four assists.

Leeds fans are already treating Raphinha as a fan favourite – but other clubs supporters are beginning to take notice. Many fans of the Premier League’s bigger clubs have raved about the Brazilian on Twitter, especially after ruining Gary Cahill this week.

It is not just fans, anymore. France Football – – have claimed Liverpool are scouting Raphinha, while suggest Leeds have already identified a replacement for Raphinha if he goes to Liverpool, in the form of Douglas Costa.

Leeds will be desperate to keep Raphinha as he continues to prove how of a bargain he has been for the Yorkshire side. But ultimately, the chance to move to Anfield might be hard to turn down the for the Brazilian attacker.

It is well within the realms of possibility that Leeds might have to give in to Raphinha’s demands and allow him to move on if Liverpool are serious – certainly Marcelo Bielsa will not want a player in his side that does not want to be there.

Perhaps, Liverpool could tempt Leeds further by including a player that has been linked with Leeds, window after window since Bielsa arrived at Elland Road. That man is playmaker and Wales international Harry Wilson.

Last summer, Leeds had opened talks with the Whites over a deal worth £15million for Wilson. However, that fell through and he moved to Championship side Cardiff City where he has starred for the Welsh outfit.

Wilson has had a hand in 11 goals during 21 Championship appearances, scoring three and creating 11. Bielsa might still be interested in Wilson come the summer and including him in a deal for Raphinha might just tempt Leeds into a move.
