Could David Luiz be about to do Arsenal player a favour this summer amid reports on his future?
One of the players seemingly facing a pivotal year in their Arsenal career is William Saliba following his loan switch to Marseille.
Mikel Arteta’s handling of Saliba has frustrated many of the supporters. The 20-year-old is yet to get a chance at a time when the Gunners have really struggled.

And when he has been loaned out, he has looked extremely impressive.
After being loaned out this summer, it is hard to imagine Saliba leaving temporarily upon his return next year.
Surely, he will either take his place in the Arsenal fold or be sold permanently.
With that in mind, his fortunes at Marseille could perhaps have huge implications for his future at the Emirates.

And that is why reports at the weekend perhaps hint that a former teammate may be considering a decision that could potentially do Saliba a real favour.
, Marseille want to sign David Luiz. The Brazilian has been offered a two-year deal following his departure from Arsenal.
If Luiz joins, that may be a blow for Saliba who will have his sights set on regular game-time.
However, adds that Luiz is stalling. He is apparently hesitating over the offer from Marseille.
Saliba may benefit if David Luiz snubs Marseille
Should Luiz decide against a move to Stade Velodrome, Saliba may be one of those who really benefits.
Of course, Arsenal fans know Luiz can be a lot important than what he brings to a team on the pitch.
But Saliba may need to show something Arteta is yet to see this season. And that may be a lot easier if he is one of their main men at the back.
Perhaps Luiz moving to Marseille will prove beneficial to Saliba. But there must be a part of him hoping that he is not joined by another defender this summer.
