‘Could be interesting’… Fabrizio Romano thinks £43m striker could leave after links with Arsenal
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has now been discussing the future of a striker who’s often been linked with Arsenal in the past months.
Regardless of what happens in the remainder of the season, it certainly seems as if Mikel Arteta will need to sign a striker this summer.

Between Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, it seems almost certain that it will be the former to accompany a new face in Arsenal’s squad.
Despite his talent, Nketiah hasn’t been trusted to deputise for his Brazilian teammate during his recent issues, which tells a story.
Moreover, with the amount of injuries Jesus has suffered at Arsenal, Arteta will need a reliable and prolific alternative.
And whilst there are some question marks over his readiness, Arsenal have been linked with RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.
The 20-year-old still often looks raw in his performances, perhaps showing similarities to Rasmus Hojlund, but there’s clearly potential there.
And when speaking on ‘’, Romano thought there could be a ton of interest in the Arsenal-linked striker this summer.
Fabrizio Romano suggests Arsenal could face hot competition for striker Benjamin Sesko
Speaking on the podcast, Romano said: “I think so, I think he’s going to be an interesting name for the summer, we’ll see what Leipzig decides to do but I think he is going to be an interesting name because of all of the movement for a striker again next summer.
“And with Benjamin Sesko it’s also important to say that the interest is from different countries.

“For example there are clubs in England tracking Sesko for time, there are clubs in Italy that also want Sesko so I think there could be interesting movement for this player.
“Lets see how the second half of the season is going to be for him.”
Of course, Sesko could be a very interesting option to dovetail with Jesus, giving the different qualities they possess.
Perhaps Arsenal fans would prefer to see a more accomplished name arrive, rather than a ‘project player’ but they will trust Arteta to get it right.
So whilst Romano talks of interest from England for the £43m-striker, it may not be coming from Arsenal’s way in the summer.
That being said, The Gunners would seem well advised to chase one ambitious deal.
