Conte says Son Heung-min has been amazing throughout Tottenham spell
Antonio Conte has labelled the Tottenham Hotspur spell of Son Heung-min amazing, and urged the forward to continue at this level – .
Son has been an outstanding performer for Spurs for a number of years now. It is easy to forget that he seemed to only be a peripheral figure during his first season in North London.

Since then, he has been superb. He has reached double figures for league goals in each of the last six seasons. And with 17 strikes to his name this time around, he is one away from achieving his best ever tally for Spurs.
In fact, only Mohamed Salah has found the back of the net more often in the Premier League this season. And that has helped Tottenham move themselves into pole position for fourth spot and a return to the Champions League.

Son has scored six goals in his last four appearances, including a hat-trick against Aston Villa. And when asked about his form throughout the season, Conte insisted that he has been impressed with what he has seen from the 29-year-old for a lot longer than just this campaign.
“You know very well that we’re talking about an important player for me. Sonny, his time with Tottenham from the start until now, has been amazing,” he said, .
“He has to try to continue in this way, because we need to improve, to continue to score. It’ll be very important to finish the season with good stats for every player but at the same it would be very important to finish with the team in the best possible position at the end.”
Keeping Kane and Son together next season is massive for Tottenham
Obviously, much of the talk surrounding Tottenham centres around the idea of keeping Conte and Harry Kane beyond this season. They are arguably the two most important figures.
But Son may not be far behind at this stage. His record for Tottenham is incredible. And it is no secret that he seems to have quite a good understanding with Kane.
If Tottenham finish in the top-four this season, and keep those three men, there looks to be a fantastic opportunity to start another brilliant era for the club.
