Arsenal fans are frustrated that Konstantinos Mavropanos was allowed out on loan after seeing him make a big splash in training yesterday.

Wrongly loaned?

Mavropanos tweeted a clip out of him scoring a belter while on loan at Stuttgart from Arsenal.

The centre-back isn’t typically associated with scoring goals, but he showed good footwork and a fine finish to hit the back of the net in training.

With Arsenal failing to score in their first two Premier League matches frustrations are really starting to build at the Emirates Stadium.

And Mavropanos’s latest tweet certainly had plenty of Arsenal fans responding.

Still hope?

Mavropanos actually really impressed when sent out on loan last season by Arsenal too.

There were some suggestions that the central defender could come back into Mikel Arteta’s plans, but he was quickly shipped out on loan again this summer.

With Arsenal struggling at the back, there is an argument to suggest he could have been kept around.

However, with Ben White signing – Mavropanos would have been hard pressed to force his way into the team.

The likes of Rob Holding and Gabriel have always been ahead of him in the pecking order since Arteta arrived.

But Mavropanos is still only 23, and if he can have another impressive loan spell there may still be a chance that he could return to Arsenal and make an impact.
