Conor Coady makes claim about Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Conor Coady has named Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as his favourite away ground .
Coady was actually linked with a move to Spurs in the summer. that Nuno Espirito Santo wanted the centre-back.

Of course, the Portuguese knows the defender incredibly well from his time at Molineux.
Nuno made the inspired decision to use Coady as part of a back three following his appointment. And the 28-year-old became the full-time captain during his tenure.
So it was probably little surprise to many that Spurs were linked with a move for Coady in the summer.

And it seems that he would have been very happy had a move gone through – judging by his response to a question regarding his favourite away ground.
“I love the new Tottenham one, it’s absolutely brilliant,” . “I’ve always like St James’, it’s great when you go and play there.
“When we won there and ‘Doc’ [Matt Doherty] scored the winner in the last minute, it was a hell of a game. I’ll go Tottenham, closely followed by Newcastle.”
Coady could have been an inspired addition for Tottenham
Spurs have started the campaign superbly. And their defence has been outstanding so far.
They have kept three clean sheets, including one against Bruno Lage’s men. And they top the Premier League table.
They also still have Cristian Romero to fully integrate into the squad. So there is plenty of reason to be optimistic.
But surely, signing Coady would have been a smart piece of business had it happened.
The defender is a fantastic leader. And he is arguably at the peak of his powers with his 29th birthday not until next February.
It should certainly not be a surprise if fresh links with Spurs emerge further down the line.
