Collymore backs £20m PL star to be good signing for Tottenham
Stan Collymore that Adama Traore would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur, and backed Antonio Conte to get 10 goals a season out of him.
Traore has been the player seemingly most heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this month. In fact, it was recently suggested that Spurs are hopeful of taking the Wolves star on an initial loan with an obligation to make the deal permanent for £20 million in the summer.

The former Barcelona man is one of the most perplexing players in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola has previously labelled him ‘‘. But his strike against Southampton on Saturday was his first Premier League goal of the campaign. And he is yet to provide an assist.
So the prospect of signing Traore is likely to divide plenty of Tottenham fans. However, Collymore claimed that he could see Conte having a major impact on the forward’s game.

“He’d be a good signing for Spurs because he would cover a multitude of sins – including cover as a central striker,” .
“A lot of you might say he’s only got blistering pace so he’s better out wide.
“But I could see Conte working Traore hard and getting 10 goals a season out of him.”
Goal on Saturday may do little for Tottenham hopes of signing Adama Traore
Wolves would likely be in two minds about letting Traore go. He is clearly an incredibly unique player in the Premier League. And on his day, he is simply unstoppable.
But he provides nothing like the kind of numbers for Bruno Lage’s men that you would expect. .
So letting him go to Tottenham may have actually made a lot of sense to Wolves, too. But that may perhaps change following his first goal of the season on Saturday.
That strike against Southampton will have done his confidence the world of good. And should he follow that with another against Brentford later this month, it is not hard to imagine Wolves deciding to keep him beyond the window.
