Cole Palmer says 23-year-old Chelsea player is actually faster than Raheem Sterling
Chelsea have a number of very fast players in their squad.
The likes of Raheem Sterling, Reece James, Noni Madueke and Malo Gusto are all absolutely rapid, but according to Cole Palmer, another player is the fastest in the squad.
Indeed, speaking to the , Palmer has claimed that there’s another player at Chelsea who is actually the quickest in the squad.
Palmer was asked to create his so-called perfect Chelsea player based on a number of attributes, and while Palmer said that he wanted Thiago Silva’s mentality and Enzo Fernandez’s vision, he stated that he would actually want the speed of Mykhaylo Mudryk rather than anyone else.

Cole Palmer says Mudryk is the fastest at Chelsea
The midfielder spoke about some of his teammates.
“Mentality?” Palmer was asked.
“Thiago Silva,” Palmer said.

“For vision I would say Enzo Fernandez,” Palmer replied.
“Speed?” Palmer was asked.
“Speed, I would say Mudryk,” Palmer concluded.

Say what you will about Mudryk as a player, there’s no questioning his speed.
The Ukrainian may have a lot of room for improvement in other areas of his game, but there aren’t many players in the Premier League who can hold a candle to Mudryk in terms of his ability to cover ground quickly.
The winger is a match for any player in world football in terms of his speed, but, sadly, other areas of his game are lacking and that’s led to a disappointing 12 months at Stamford Bridge.
However, at the age of just 23, he still has room to grow and improve, and hopefully he’ll be able to kick into gear soon and help Chelsea get back to where they should be in the Premier League.
