Club officials have now flown to England to sign ‘superb’ Newcastle United player

Besiktas officials will reportedly fly to England to discuss the potential transfer of Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles.

The Magpies captain has recently been linked wit🍌h a move to the ♛Turkish giants, with Newcastle open to selling a number of players💜 to balance out their current FFP restrictions.

And Lascellesꩲ has now emerged as a target for Beওsiktas, with the 30-year-old defender’s contract with Newcastle due to expire at the end of this season.

Now, , Besiktas officials are this week set to jet off to Tyneside to try and sign Lascelles, with the report s๊tating that Newcastle are not interested in selling the centre-back.

, it makes sense why Newcastle ꦿmight have little interest in wanting to offload Lascelles this January.

However, with the defender’s contract expiring and Newcastle in𒁃 need of funds, selling Lascelles could be one way for the Magpies to strengthen their squad in the final days of the winter window.
