Club now line up player who West Ham sold for just £3m as replacement for £70m Tottenham target
Juventus have now lined up Felipe Anderson – who West Ham sold in 2021 – as a replacement for Tottenham target Federico Chiesa.
That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
So, what is the situation involving Tottenham target Federico Chiesa and Felipe Anderson? Let’s take a look…
Juventus eye Felipe Anderson as Federico Chiesa replacement
Well – according to – the Italy international is currently refusing to sign a new contract in Turin, with his current terms set to expire in just over 12 months.
The Italian news outlet believe Juventus cannot afford to lose Chiesa – valued at £70m – on a free transfer, so are preparing for a sale this summer.
Those preparations even extend to finding a replacement, with Anderson – who West Ham sold to Lazio for just in 2021 – being lined up.
It comes after claimed that Spurs are monitoring the Italian’s situation over at the Allianz Stadium.

A story from added that Tottenham would be even more tempted to bid for Chiesa if he shines at UEFA EURO 2024 this summer.
The Juventus No.7 has struggled this season – drawing whistles from his own supporters recently – having scored goals in 21 Serie A appearances.
Tottenham have alternatives
If a move for Chiesa fails to materialise for whatever reason, Tottenham have other wide forwards they can target.
One option – according to the – is Wolves No.7 Pedro Neto, who Ange Postecoglou is believed to be a huge admirer of.
The Portugal international is enjoying a fantastic season with goals and 11 assists in 21 games across all competitions.

Should that pursuit also not work out, Spurs could simply trigger their option to buy Timo Werner on a permanent basis for £17m – something RB Leipzig are actually expecting to happen.
Be sure to keep an eye on developments at Tottenham this summer, as a new forward could arrive.
