Club interested in signing ‘special’ Aston Villa player who is ‘keen’ on move
Aston Villa have been one of the spendiest clubs in all of Europe this summer, yet their business seems far from done.
The final week of the transfer window often throws clubs into overdrive to make new signings and offload players who have no place in the squad, with Villa expected to be no exception in the final 48 hours of the summer market.
Enzo Barrenechea is set to leave Villa on loan whilst John Duran remains a target for Chelsea, with Unai Emery’s side believed to be leading the chase to sign Liverpool defender Joe Gomez.
And another player could be set to leave Villa before tomorrow night’s deadline.

Anderlecht eye Villa midfielder Leander Dendoncker who is keen to move
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, R.S.C. Anderlecht are eyeing a move for former midfielder Leander Dendoncker, with the Belgian international believed to be keen on leaving Villa for a return to his boyhood club.
Tavolieri wrote: “Anderlecht is expected to close his transfer window after the arrival of a central/defensive midfielder. This is how it has been decided after internal talks after deciding the most emergent need was in that position.
“On that perspective, Leander Dendoncker’s name has been validated by everybody and the Belgian midfielder would be keen on the move. He’s high on the list so far and talks are underway. Wait and see.”
Hailed as by Nuno Espirito Santo, Dendoncker’s time at Villa is clearly up with the midfielder not even featuring for the Villians in the matchday squad for their first two Premier League games, and a return to Anderlecht could be a beneficial move for all parties in the coming days.

Dendoncker leaving Villa is overdue at this stage
With just under 400 minutes played for Villa last season in all competitions, it’s pretty clear that Dendoncker is ready to move on from Villa Park this summer, with a return to Anderlecht exactly what the midfielder needs.
Dendoncker’s Premier League career has been an interesting one having played for Villa and Wolves with mixed results, with the 29-year-old’s loan move to Napoli last season also a complete disaster having played just 21 minutes for the Italian side.
Indeed, Dendoncker needs a change of scenery if he’s to get his once promising career back on track, and signing for Anderlecht, the club where it all started for the midfielder, could be ideal for the midfielder.
