Club have now stopped talking to Tottenham after bidding just £8.5m for their ‘outstanding’ player
Tottenham’s hopes of selling one of their fringe players this summer could now be on hold after a top European club went quiet on negotiations.
Spurs are looking to bring new players in this summer and have moved to sign Archie Gray for big money already.
However, getting players out of the door is also something Spurs want to do and a number of squad players are on the chopping block.
Ange Postecoglou is said to be willing to let the likes of Gio Lo Celso, Djed, Spence and Sergio Reguilon all leave, while others could also follow.

Among those other players who could depart is Brazilian defender, Emerson Royal.

But according to , Royal might have to be very patient as it looks like Milan have gone a touch quiet.

AC Milan no longer talking to Tottenham after low-ball bid for Emerson Royal
According to an update from Sky this morning, AC Milan are keen on signing Royal but have gone quiet when it comes to signing him.
It’s reported how Milan made a bid of around £8.5m for Royal which was quickly rejected by Tottenham.
However, the worrying aspect of the rejected bid is that it’s now claimed Milan have not come back with anything at all and seemingly gone silent.
Tottenham are desperate to see Royal moved on but after paying around £25m to sign him in the first place, the club want some money back.
Despite being hailed by defender, Royal has played very much a bit-part role under Postecoglou.
A move away this summer, then, seems like it’s the best for all parties.
