Report: ‘Incredible’ free-agent Tottenham and Ten Hag want is considering offers from Newcastle and Lampard
It’s looked like Christian Eriksen has been destined for one of Manchester United or Tottenham all summer long but things are far from done.
According to a report from this weekend, Eriksen has a host of offers on the table from clubs who want to sign him this summer. The Dane is expected to leave Brentford and according to The Times, has offers on the table from Newcastle, Everton, and Leicester City, as well as one from Brentford. That’s alongside the potential deals on offer from Man United and Tottenham, who have kept tabs on him all summer.

Clearly, Eriksen is a wanted man this summer. After coming back to England after his frightening and life-threatening Euro 2020 experience, the former Spurs midfielder showed everyone he still has it in the locker.
Eriksen played a key role in ensuring Brentford had a strong finish to the season and stayed miles clear of any sort of relegation trouble.
Dubbed an ‘‘ player for how he performed at Brentford in those final few months of the season, Eriksen’s stock is high again. And with so many clubs interested, it seems he has a big decision to make in the coming weeks.
TBR’s View: Eriksen Could Spark New Heights For Newcastle
It seems Eriksen has the pick of some fine clubs here. Ultimately, he’ll need to weigh up who he feels offers the best short and long-term option, as well as who might offer European football.
Newcastle would be an interesting one. PIF are looking to build the club and Eriksen is the sort of player who could help the club go to a new level under Eddie Howe. The Dane is a class act, and a proven commodity.
Whoever does land Eriksen, though, is getting a fine player. And on a free, there won’t be many better bargain deals all summer.
