Chris Wilder refuses to send two Sheffield United players to Wrexham after loan moves made
- Exclusive with Graeme Bailey
Sheffield United are having a quiet deadline day so far and TBR Football understands Chris Wilder has swatted away moves for two of his young stars.
The Blades have been looking to add to the squad in the final days of the window with Wilder keeping two of his loan slots open.
Thus far, nothing seems imminent and the main issue for United and Wilder as it stands is keeping his squad together.
Gus Hamer has been linked with Leeds, while Vini Souza has admirers and Oliver Arblaster is a potential target for Brighton later today.
However, while Wilder will want those senior players to stick around, he’s also moved to ensure two of his young starlets are not going anywhere either.

Sheffield United turn down Wrexham moves for Louis Marsh and Sai Sachdev
TBR Football understands that Sheffield United have turned down loan offers for starlets Louie March and Sai Sachdev.
We understand that Plymouth, Stockport, Huddersfield, Wrexham and Rotherham all made moves to try and land England Under-20 forward March – but The Blades have said no.
They have also turned down offers for England Under-18 full-back Sai Sachdev – with Lincoln, Mansfield and Bradford City amongst those who were keen.
However, TBR understands that Chris Wilder has plans for both players and wants them involved in the first-team, so has vetoed their potential exits.
Both Marsh and Sachdev played in midweek as United lost to Barnsley in the cup.
Sachdev is battling with the likes of Jamie Shackleton, Femi Seriki and Alfie Gilchrist at right-back, while Marsh is hoping to make an impression after Oli McBurnie left in the summer.
It seems, then, that Chris Wilder is wanting to keep both around the first-team squad and make sure they get minutes through the season.
