Chris Sutton ‘guarantees’ what Tottenham fans will be saying about Ange Postecoglou next season
Chris Sutton has now made a rather bold prediction about what could unfold at Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou next season.
Right now it seems as if all is well in North London, Postecoglou is spearheading an exciting project full of optimism.

It’s been far too long since Tottenham fans have had a team they can get genuinely excited about, one with a clear direction.
And following a productive January transfer window, fans must be looking forward to the summer, when Spurs will surely make even more progress.
The arrival of Lucas Bergvall in the off-season will also be very welcome, another reason for optimism.
However, Chris Sutton wasn’t so convinced that everything will continue so seamlessly under Postecoglou at Tottenham.
Sutton was speaking on the BBC’s ‘’ and was initially making a claim about football fans in general.
The pundit was discussing the ‘everything now’ culture among some supporters, who he thinks need to show more patience.
And he then used Postecoglou’s future as an example.
Chris Sutton thinks Tottenham fans will be frustrated with Ange Postecoglou’s football next season
Sutton was convinced that Spurs fans will eventually grow tired of the attractive football being played in North London right now.
The pundit thought the Tottenham faithful would soon be calling for Postecoglou to be more pragmatic to get his team over the line.

Sutton said: “I think we are at a stage where fans want absolutely everything now. They want the lot.
“I guarantee you next season there will be Tottenham fans under Postecoglou who will say that they need to be a bit more pragmatic. Wait and see.”
Of course, you aren’t going to find too many Spurs fans who will agree with that right now.
Although Postecoglou’s side do play with tactical freedom, not always thinking of their back line first, they still do have pragmatism in their displays.
Perhaps Sutton is suggesting that Tottenham fans will eventually be calling for Postecoglou to drop his high line in games.
However, a lesson should be learned from when Spurs travelled to Manchester City earlier in the season.
Many were calling for Postecoglou to be more pragmatic then, with so many players missing.
However, the Australian stuck to his guns, and led his Tottenham side to a commendable point.
All that being said, Jamie Carragher has now been praising a player Spurs appeared to miss out on in January.
