Chris Sutton delivers verdict on “fearless” Arsenal player after Euro 2020 heartbreak
Chris Sutton believes that Arsenal star Bukayo Saka was unfortunate not to start in the Euro 2020 final after his penalty miss saw England fall short at the final hurdle.
Gareth Southgate’s England were beaten 3-2 in a penalty shootout on Sunday by Italy, so the wait to win a first major international tournament since 1966 continues.
Saka, along with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, missed a penalty in the dreaded shootout to condemn the Three Lions to defeat at Wembley Stadium.
However, pundit Sutton has delivered some positive words on Arsenal attacker Saka.
Firstly, he feels the 19-year-old winger deserved to start the final. Southgate used him as a second-half substitute during the 90 minutes. In addition, he praised his bravery and fearlessness to step up for a fifth penalty in a shootout.

Penalty miss won’t define Saka
