Chris Sutton accuses player of ‘sour grapes’ over what he’s said about Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou
Chris Sutton has accused one player of sour grapes after what he recently said about Ange Postecoglou and the way he works at Tottenham Hotspur.
There is no question that Ang⛦e Postecoglou has been a brilliant addition to the Premier League. Tꦫottenham seemed to be in a right mess as last season approached its conclusion.
Ange Postecoglou was probably not a name many were talkinಞg about for Spurs when Antonio Conte left. But he has proved to be an inspired choice, with Tottenham leading the way✃ in the Premier League in the opening weeks of the season.
Sp♛urs also played some of the best football in the division.
Chris Sutton hits out at player over comments about Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou
But one player who was unable to thrive under the Australian was Eric Dier.
Dier left in January, joining Bayern Munich on an initial loan deal. Dier did not appear to be we🌟ll-suited to what Postecoglou wanted from his centre-backs.
Interestingly, the England international ♒recently told that Postecoglou does no tactical work in training.

Chris Sutton is a big fa🅘n of Postecoglou from his time at Celtic. And with that, he has ꦍtold that he is baffled by Dier’s comments.
“I think stuff like that is called sour grapes,” he said. “So how then Eric have the꧋ team changed from parking three buses under the last three managers to this attacking brand of football? It’s just happened overnigh🌄t, has it Eric? They’ve just magicked it up. That’s nothing to do with Ange Postecoglou? Dear me.”
Spurs a changed side from last season
It is a strange comment to make. Clearly, Tottenham are ꦡa completely different side to the one who struggled so much last season. And they are extremel🌸y well-drilled.
It does not always pay off. Spurs have suffered some hefty defeats in the last few months. And you do have to wonder if some teams have fo🌠und a way to play against Postecoglo🍌u’s men.
But Tottenham have improved considerably over the last 12 months. And they look to have so much potential while Postecoglou is at theꦉ helm.
