Chris Hughton says he’s never seen £25m Tottenham star play as well as he is right now
Chris Hughton has now shared his thoughts on Yves Bissouma’s improvement under Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur this season.
Hughton was talking to in an exclusive interview and harped back to when he signed Bissouma as Brighton Hove Albion manager.

Bissouma was playing for LOSC Lille before making the move and Hughton was convinced that he would be a huge asset in England.
And following Postecoglou’s arrival at Tottenham, Hughton now thinks Bissouma is playing the best football of his career.
: “When we brought him to Brighton we knew he would be a big asset for us.
“That was clear to see but when players come in from abroad you don’t know how long it will take them to hit the ground running and certainly that was the case once he got going it was clear he was made for big things.
“He’s playing in a team and under a manager who maybe suits his style of play and he’s probably playing the best football he’s ever played.”
And it’s certainly hard to argue with those thoughts.
Hughton thinks Bissouma is the perfect fit for Postecoglou’s Tottenham
Of course, Bissouma will have another chance to demonstrate just how well he’s playing when Chelsea arrive in North London tonight.
Spurs have a chance to return to the top of the league, and there’s also the small matter of Mauricio Pochettino coming back to North London.

And although he’s likely to get a frosty reception tonight, it has now been revealed that Pochettino maintained some loyalty to Spurs.
A report today has revealed how Pochettino rejected Arsenal back in 2019 just after being sacked by Tottenham.
Yves Bissouma arrived at the club after all of these shenanigans, but would have potentially been a player to thrive under Poch.
Nonetheless, it’s Postecoglou’s style that has been reinventing Bissouma’s fortunes at Tottenham, and Hughton clearly thinks there’s a lot of success to come.
Whilst Bissouma should be a nailed on starter tonight, there’s slightly less certainty over Destiny Udogie.
The full-back is a doubt due to injury, but may have posted a cryptic clue pointing to his involvement.
