Chelsea told they have a ‘superb’ player who isn’t getting enough credit right now

Chelsea look to be much improved this season, and a lot of Chelsea’s brilliance hast been attributed to one man.

Indeed, not a day seems to go by where Cole Palmer isn’tಌ in the headlines for the right r♉easons at Chelsea.

Palmer has been hailed as Chelsea’s saviour on numerous occasions this season, but, as ever in 🐈football, this is a team effort.

Speaking on , Glenn Murray has been discussing Chelsea’s season so far, and he’s highlighted Nicolas Jackson for some special praise.

Indeed, Murray spoke incredibly highly of Jackson, claiming that while Palmer gets all of the plaudits, Jackson’s improvement between this season and last has been ꧋superb.

Nicolas Jackson is underrated

Murray spoke incredibly ꦕhighly of the 🔥Chelsea striker, labelling him as outstanding.

Jackson has four goals and threeꦿ assists to his name already this season, and Murray believes it’s about time the Cameroon international got his due credit.

“I think Nicoღlas Jackson has been outstanding. Obviously Cole Palmer gets all of the plaudits. Jackson may not be as likeable a character from afar, but his improvement between the two seasons has been superb,” Murray said.

“Even further back, Caicedo is starting to find his 🐭feet and you’re understandꦆing why they paid so much money for him.”

Jackson showed promising signs last season

As Murray says, Jackson has been much-improved this season, but he showed signs of🐬 brilliance last season.

Indeed, the striker netted 14 P♊remier Leagu꧂e goals last term, and that really isn’t a bad return.

Interestingly, Darren Bent actually picked Jackson as his one to watc♛h for 2024/25 at the end of last season.

“I’ve gone for someone who divides opinion, I’ve gone for Nicolas Jackson. People say he’s had a bad season; he’s got 14 goals. That’s not♕ bad, that,” Bent said.

“I think next seaso𓂃n, with the right coaching, the right system, yeah, I thi💟nk he could be decent.”

Enzo Maresca has come in as the new Chelsea manage꧂r, and he’s clearly instilled a new level of confidence into Jackson, and that’s helped him improve this season.

Chelsea face Liverpool this wee♕kend, and there’s reason to believe that Jackson could be the difference maker in this game.

Between Palmer and Jackson, Chelsea have one of the most frightening attacking forces in the Premier League, and there’s plenty of reason to be excited about what the west London club could achieve this seaso👍n.
