Djordje Petrovic labelled ‘world class’ by Liam Rosenior

Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior believes that Chelsea loanee Djordje Petrovic is ‘world-class’ following his display against Lille.

The Ligue 1 side defeated Lille 2-1 to climb into eighth place with Petrovic making five saves and denying an xG of 1.26.

The Serbian shot-stopper also showed excellent ability on the ball as he managed a 92 per cent pass completion from his 53 attempts.

Following the win over Lille, Rosenior said: “We have seen huge progress from Petro’. He is a world-class goalkeeper. We see it every day and it is still paying off today.”

“We continue to trust Robert but we have an entire week, see the reaction and decide for the next games.”
