Chelsea round-up: Romelu Lukaku price-tag set; John Terry wants Premier League move; Manchester United defeat explained

The  claim that Everton have placed a £100 million price tag on the head of their prized asset Romelu Lukaku as the Belgian looks to force a move away from the club this summer, which could represent a £62 million loss on the striker if the Blues were to re-sign him, having sold him to the Toffees for £28 million only three years ago.

With two years left on his existing deal, Ronald Koeman and co. could have a strong negotiating position this summer and have made it clear that they do not want their top scorer to depart, with Manchester United also interested and keeping an eye on the situation.

One man who is certainly on the move is club legend John Terry, and  claim that the central defender would find it hard to turn down the opportunity to join Bournemouth if Eddie Howe comes calling having ignored their interest in a January move for the club captain as he wanted to see out the season at Stamford Bridge.

There are a number of interested parties both at home and abroad, but these reports indicate that a move to the south coast could be the most tempting for the former England captain even if the financial package may not quite match up to some offers he may receive from abroad.

Terry could only watch on from the bench as the side fell to a humiliating defeat at the hands of Manchester United at the weekend, but the  claim that club bosses have revealed that a virus has swept through the squad and was the main cause of a number of disappointing performances.

Marcos Alonso was forced out of the tie with the illness, whilst Diego Costa and Victor Moses were said to be suffering as they played and were two of the most disappointing performers on the day.
