Chelsea prepared to pay £58m to sign Robert Sanchez replacement on transfer deadline day
Chelsea are considering making a very late push to replace Robert Sanchez on transfer deadline day with another goalkeeper being targeted.
Sanchez’s performances have been heavily criticised with the Spaniard making the joint most errors leading to goals in the Premier League player this season.
The Blues’ form over recent weeks has forced the West London club to consider entering the January transfer window in the final stages.
Enzo Maresca’s team are now thinking about bringing in a new shot-stopper on the final day of the window and have a major offer ready to go.

Chelsea prepared to make £58m offer for Gregor Kobel
Chelsea are prepared to make a £58m offer for Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, according to .
Dortmund would struggle to say no to such an offer and with the German club unlikely to play Champions League football next season they could lose some key players.
Mike Tullberg’s side are currently 11th in the Bundesliga although they did manage to secure a spot in the Champions League play-off spots.
Kobel would likely be one of the big-name players who could leave either today or in the summer should their poor form continue.
Dortmund have just signed another goalkeeper Diant Ramaj from Ajax but he has been immediately loaned out to Copenhagen suggesting they will not allow Kobel to leave today.
Chelsea have also looked at Jamie Gittens who is expected to be one of the names that will dominate next summer’s transfer window.
Could Chelsea already have Robert Sanchez’s replacement?
Chelsea may already own the two perfect Robert Sanchez replacements in Filip Jorgensen and Djordje Petrovic.
Jorgensen could even fill in for the Spanish goalkeeper in the short term with suggestions he could start against West Ham on Monday evening.
Meanwhile, Petrovic has been labelled ‘world-class’ by Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior, where he is currently out on loan.
