Chelsea new kit 2024/25: Predicted release dates for Nike shirts
Chelsea and Nike continue a long-term kit partnership in the 2024/25 Premier League season, so here is everything we know about the release dates for the Blues’ shirts.
The American athletic brand and Stamford Bridge squad joined forces back in 2017. Chelsea split from Adidas to sign with Nike after it tabled the west London outfit a lucrative contract to sign. Nike has since made every Chelsea kit for their men’s, women’s and academy sides.
Chelsea had never worn Nike kits before signing with the brand but they will stay connected until 2032. Nike and Chelsea agreed a 15-year contract in 2017. So, with that in mind, here is everything we know about the release dates for Chelsea’s 24/25 home, away and third kits…
When does the new Chelsea 24/25 Nike home kit come out?
Chelsea released their new Nike home kit for the 24/25 season on July 15 in a campaign the club dubbed as, ‘We Burn Blue’. It features a bold design that Chelsea never previously used for a home shirt as the Stamford Bridge natives also start their new era under Enzo Maresca.

The design of the shirt is the centrepiece of Chelsea’s new 24/25 home kit after Nike created a vibrant pattern that symbolises the hottest part of flame. Chelsea have used the design to embody the passion their supporters show in west London and the united passion for titles.
An orange accent also further reflects the fire-inspired design Nike created for Chelsea’s kit for home games in 24/25. The Blues signed off on the accent as a nod to the rise of young players from their academy. Chelsea view the kit as a reflection of their past achievements.
When does the new Chelsea 24/25 Nike away kit come out?
Blues fans got a first look at Chelsea’s new 24/25 season away kit as Nike released the strip on July 29. The Stamford Bridge natives dropped the kit during their pre-season tour of the USA and also filmed the promotional material for the kit featuring a white shirt in San Jose.

Chelsea’s latest away strip boasts a white shirt with blue and orange facets along the collar, sides and on the cuffs of the sleeves. It also has blue socks, while the men’s team will wear white shorts and the women’s team will adopt black shorts through the 2024/25 campaign.
Nike sought to incorporate the orange touches as part of Chelsea’s ‘We Burn Blue’ idea for their 2024/25 season kits. Additionally, the American sportswear giant has incorporated a woven design into the body of the shirt. Chelsea also have an orange club crest on the kit.
When does the new Chelsea 24/25 Nike third kit come out?
Nike and Chelsea are still to confirm the release date for the Stamford Bridge side’s third kit for the 24/25 season. The American brand and west London club may also hold the kit back until September. Chelsea did not release their 23/24 season third jersey until September 13.
Chelsea even waited until October 12, 2022 to release their third kit for the 22/23 season, as well. Nike also took the covers off Chelsea’s third shirt for the 21/22 campaign on August 26, 2021. So, TBR Football predicts Nike and Chelsea will wait until September for the 24/25 kit.
