Chelsea in talks regarding former player Jeremie Boga

𓄧According to , Jeremie Boga will find himself very much in demand come the summer transfer window. Brighton, Everton, Inter Milan and Napoli are all credited with an interest in the attacker. Even Barcelona are said to be weighing up a move for the 23-year-old.

✱The Express further state that Chelsea have first refusal on the forward, and are currently in talks with Sassuolo regarding the player’s future. The Blues sold their academy graduate to the Italian club in the summer of 2018. Since then, Boga has flourished in Serie A. So far this season, the Ivory Coast international has bagged seven goals and registered four assists, as per stats.

♌The Express state that there is a chance that Chelsea may opt to bring Boga back to Stamford Bridge. However, it’s more likely that the London outfit will instead choose to convert their first refusal option into a sell-on clause. Chelsea could then make a tidy sum should Sassuolo sell Boga. This would be a wise course of action. Boga would likely struggle to usurp the likes of Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi in Frank Lampard’s pecking order.

ꦗIf Chelsea do make some money out of Boga’s movements this summer, then it will reflect positively upon the club’s recruitment structure, which has regularly seen them horde youth talents with the huge potential.
