Chelsea have told three attackers they are now playing for their future under Enzo Maresca
- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
Chelsea built on their impressive progress under Enzo Maresca away to West Ham United on the weekend, a win inspired by Nicolas Jackson up top.
Cole Palmer was playing just behind the Chelsea striker, also enjoying a lot of success and space in east London.
Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke were on the wings, a testament to all of the rich talent Maresca has available in attacking areas.
And in reserve, Chelsea still had Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Pedro Neto watching on, a mouth-watering list.
Of course, that might be unsustainable in the long run, and TBR Football understands that three of those players are now playing for their Chelsea futures.
Christopher Nkunku one of three Chelsea players fighting to stay
Chelsea have told Mudryk, Madueke and Nkunku that they are playing for their futures at Stamford Bridge.
Fortunately the trio have all reacted well to the news, making it clear that they are determined to prove their individual worth at Chelsea.

Both Mudryk and Madueke were linked with moves away over the summer amid an influx of new attacking talent.
All three of the players mentioned have been informed that there’s a path to stay and play under Maresca, but they will need to fight for their place.
The Chelsea management have been pleased with the reaction from those in question, who are all keen to prove themselves to Maresca, who seems to be fitting in well at the club.
Maresca still planning more defensive moves
It was recently shared that Chelsea were considering a January move for Barcelona player – the club are evidently not going to stand still.
Maresca is excited to welcome Estevao Willian to the club in the near future, another attacking talent who will need regular chances to reach his potential.
Many may have felt as if Chelsea’s squad building would calm down after such a busy summer, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Chelsea are also considering a Marc Guehi bid next year, perhaps hoping to bring the centre-back back to the Bridge to partner Levi Colwill in the middle.
An ambitious club with ambitious plans, and right now it does seem as if Maresca is the right coach to web it all together.
