Chelsea feel they’ve given £32m player enough chances, he’s ‘definitely one to keep an eye on’ over possible exit
TBR Football can exclusively confirm the latest information regarding the future of Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson.
Jackson was Chelsea’s main striker last season, but a loss of form has seen him receive criticism from sections of the fanbase.
In addition, with Liam Delap now at Chelsea, Jackson risks falling down the pecking order.
TBR Football can confirm how both Jackson and Chelsea feel about the player’s current situation, who could sign him, and who the Blues could replace him with.

Chelsea feel they’ve given Nicolas Jackson ‘more than enough chances’ at No. 9
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has confirmed that Nicolas Jackson is becoming increasingly frustrated over his situation at Chelsea.
However, the Blues feel they have given the £32million striker more than enough chances to stake a claim as the club’s main centre-forward.
Bailey says he wouldn’t be surprised to see Jackson leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with the Saudi Pro League circling around the Senegal international.
Chelsea could look to Benjamin Sesko or Samu Aghehowa as potential replacements for Jackson.
“Nicolas Jackson is growing in frustration, but from Chelsea’s point of view they think he’s been given more than enough chances to claim that number nine shirt,” Bailey exclusively told TBR Football.
“There’s stuff bubbling around Jackson and I wouldn’t be amazed to see him elsewhere by the end of August. There’s Saudi Pro League interest in him, so Jackson is definitely one to keep an eye on.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we do see Benjamin Sesko or Samu Aghehowa go to Chelsea, although Chelsea do have plans to bring Emanuel Emegha to Stamford Bridge from Strasbourg in 2026.”
Why Cole Palmer appeared to be fuming with Nicolas Jackson at the Club World Cup
A decision Jackson made in the Club World Cup semi-final win over Fluminense prompted an angry reaction from Blues teammate Cole Palmer.
In the 81st minute of the game, Jackson won the ball off one of Fluminense’s defenders and made his way into the box from the left.
Jackson had the opportunity to pass to Palmer, who was free six yards out with an open goal, but the forward opted to go for goal himself.
However, Jackson could only find the side netting, prompting Palmer to kick the post and remonstrate with his teammate.
Although it didn’t cost Chelsea in the game, the miss may well have given Maresca yet more food for thought in terms of his future first-team chances.
