Chelsea fans want West Ham to sign defender, after tricky UEFA Super Cup display
Kurt Zouma was perhaps a surprise inclusion in Thomas Tuchel’s starting line-up as Chelsea faced Villarreal in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday. Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta all started on the bench. Despite the win, Chelsea fans want Zouma to join West Ham.
It was a game of two halves. Chelsea dominated the first 45 and probably should have scored more than just Hakim Ziyech’s 27th-minute strike. Villarreal came roaring back in the second 45, with Alberto Moreno striking the bar. Namesake Gerard Moreno then scored on 73 minutes.

Indeed, Zouma has been linked in a deal for Jules Kounde – which would see Chelsea pay Sevilla cash and Zouma to get Kounde. West Ham have re-opened talks for the France international. After his Super Cup display, Chelsea fans want West Ham to sign Zouma.
