Tammy Abraham has today completed a permanent move to Roma and Chelsea fans have now been reacting on Twitter. The 23-year-old has departed on the back of Romelu Lukaku’s return to Stamford Bridge.

Under Frank Lampard, Abraham excelled at Chelsea. He played plenty of matches and leaves with 30 goals from his 82 appearances for the club.

Serie A looks like a good destination for him. Arsenal and West Ham have been linked with a move for him this summer but heading to Roma allows him to play for one of the biggest clubs in Italy.

Abraham could thrive in Serie A. His physical presence could be a real asset in Italy and he’ll hope to become a regular in the England squad with plenty of goals for his new club.
