Chelsea fans react as Antonio Rudiger is linked to Tottenham
Chelsea are considering offloading Antonio Rudiger during the transfer window, with Tottenham and West Ham United both vying for his signature.
The 27-year-old defender has fallen down the pecking order under Frank Lampard following the summer arrival of Thiago Silva.
He was on the bench for the opening day victory over Brighton and Hove Albion but hasn’t made the squad for any of the four games since.
Tottenham are on the lookout for a new central defender before the window slams shut. Eric Dier has partnered Toby Alderweireld in the opening stages but strength in depth is required.

Rudiger is seen as an alternative solution to Milan Skriniar if a deal cannot be struck with Inter.
Following the news, Chelsea fans have been discussing whether or not heading to Tottenham would be a decent move.
Some have been discussing whether the Blues should even consider offloading the player full stop.
The reactions seem mixed, with plenty of the opinion that he is pretty much surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
Others are of the opinion that they don’t really mind where he goes as long as he doesn’t stay at Chelsea.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Chelsea fans as the Rudiger is linked to Tottenham.
If Tottenham offer £25m+ for Rudiger and other clubs only do a loan then I'd be happy for him to go to Spurs.

Because we are rivals,,if he did go there it would be hard for him to return to us, adding pressure,if he wants to go,a clean break for me.
Cant think of to many who have returned and been welcomed back into the fold.
Carlo and Jason Cundy, did it but its a hard decision.— Stuart Cripps 💙 (@Stuartcripps4)
Club should never deal with them, they got the hump when we acquired Willian saying the same thing

Absolutely not!!! We don't have deals with Spurs. Even it is
a loan deal— Temka2K (@IMTemka2K)
I am always skeptical about our players joining our direct rivals. Also if he is not going to get mins to play he should go but away not in PL

No problem but not on loan .. pay outright for 35-40 million or loan with obligation to buy .
That’s all.— JD (@pappalz)
Why we’re strengthen Tottenham?, we should send somewhere else

Not fussed to be honest, if he wants to go and we get the right price I don't care where that is.
