Chelsea fans are making the same point about Nicolas Jackson after coming from behind to beat Fulham 2-1
Chelsea fans are making the same point about Nicolas Jackson after the Blues came from behind to win 2-1 away at Craven Cottage against Fulham.
Late goals from Tyrique George and Pedro Neto secure a crucial three points for Chelsea in the race for Champions League qualification.
The win sees the Blues climb into fifth place and places them within just two points of Newcastle United, who were beaten by Aston Villa.
But for Jackson, it was an afternoon to forget as the striker produced yet another dispaonting display and was withdrawn before Enzo Marseca’s side scored both their goals.

Chelsea fans question Nicolas Jackson’s contribution vs Fulham
Chelsea fans have been questioning Nicolas Jackson’s contribution in their dramatic late win over Fulham.
The Blues’ supporters thought they were in for another disappointing result, however, goals from Neto and George changed their fortunes in the West London derby.
Up until Jackson’s withdrawal in the 78th minute, the Blues struggled to carve out many meaningful chances, with the striker struggling to get into the game. Chelsea fans have long been calling for George to start and his impact against Fulham may persuade the Italian manager to give him more chances in the future.
During the match, Chelsea supporters took to X to share their frustrations towards their number nine and called for Maresa to reconsider his spot in the team.
One fan said: “As for Jackson, how many times has it got to be said? HE IS NOT A STRIKER! Even Cucurella has better movement in the box.”
Another claimed: “We have over 50 crosses in the game and none of them have resulted in anything. Jackson, as a number nine, doesn’t know where to be when they cross the ball. He is always nowhere near the cross.”
There was yet more criticism for the striker: “Jackson has been a ghost; such a wasted striker has had no impact, just like his last game in the Conference League.”
Finally, another fan added: “You have to seriously consider his performances and attitude if it’s been said to Jackson he’s surplus to requirements next season…”
