Chelsea fans don’t want Jadon Sancho to return to Manchester United
Chelsea fans were not impressed in the slightest by Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto, but they liked what they saw from Sancho.
His goal led to many Blues supporters calling for the club to keep the Manchester United loanee amid rumours that Chelsea want to send Sancho back.
“If we’re being honest and if it was easy to do, we should be keeping Sancho and selling Neto imo,” one fan wrote on X.
“I think both are good squad players but just believe Sancho brings more end product. Ideally I’d have Sancho, Madueke, Estevao and a new winger.”
Another fan said: “He’s better than so many wingers. I would rather have Sancho play than Madueke and Neto.”
The calls to keep Sancho kept coming, with one fan saying: “If we sell Neto & Sterling and keep Sancho & Madueke as backups while buying proper wingers, we’ll be alright.”
Another supporter wrote: “You can’t score the winning goal in a cup final with a loan contract and you won’t get signed permanently afterwards.
“C’mon Chelsea, put a ring on Sancho.”
Another said: “Can we send Noni Madueke to Manchester United instead of Sancho?”
How Chelsea could send Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United despite obligation to buy
Chelsea agreed to sign Sancho on loan back in August 2024 with an obligation to buy him permanently this summer for a fee of £25million.
This suggested that the winger had played his final game for Manchester United, but after a poor season in the league, rumours emerged over a potential return.
The Athletic has spoken of a £5million penalty charge were Chelsea to break the obligatory clause agreed with Manchester United.
Many Chelsea fans now don’t want Sancho to return – but the decision ultimately rests with the club’s coaches and hierarchy.
