Chelsea could offload two players to facilitate Marc Guehi move which may ‘raise eyebrows’
TBR Football understands that Chelsea may consider selling centre-back duo Trevoh Chalobah and Tosin Adarabioyo to help aid their move for Marc Guehi.
Liverpool and Chelsea are the favourites to sign Guehi in the summer, with a deal for the Crystal Palace defender now expected to cost under £50 million.
The Blues would have no issues with paying such a fee to bring the 26-year-old back across London, however, for PSR reasons, they may look for ways to help facilitate the move.
That could come in the form of selling some of their central defenders, and in the case of Chalobah and Adarabioyo, the duo would, of course, represent pure profit.

Don’t rule out Chelsea selling Trevoh Chalobah and Tosin Adarabioyo
Chelsea could attempt to sell Trevoh Chalobah and Tosin Adarabioyo for a combined total of £50-60 million this summer, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.
Enzo Maresca is keen to add Marc Guehi to his list of central defenders and in order to do so, he might need to sell one or two.
Axel Disasi is one of the defenders who has a good chance of leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer, but he could be joined by the two English defenders.
Bailey told TBR Football: “There’s a few going to go at Chelsea, don’t rule out (Trevoh) Chalobah and Tosin (Adarabioyo). Eyebrows might be raised about selling both players, but you’ve got to remember they’re both ultra profitable.
“Tosin arrived on a free transfer, even if he was sold for £20m, you’re still making a pure profit. Chalobah, he’s confident at Chelsea, but are you going to win the league title with him at centre-back? Probably not. So again, do you sell for £30m.
“If Chelsea could make a £50m to £60m profit or so on Chalobah and Tosin, then bring in Guehi, that’s one of the biggest no-brainers as it’s such a big upgrade. I think there’s a real chance both might go.”
Will Christopher Nkunku actually leave Chelsea this summer?
Christopher Nkunku will again be allowed to leave Chelsea this summer, although his price tag will determine the level of interest.
According to reports, Chelsea wanted £70m for Nkunku in January, but at that price, he is unlikely to appeal to many clubs, if any.
Bailey said: “It’s not quite worked for him, he’ll be allowed to leave. I think his price will determine the level of interest, if they demand 60-70m for him- it’s not going to happen, but for 40m there could be quite a bit of interest.”
