Chelsea could move for ‘special’ Aston Villa player if they fail to secure £55m transfer

Chelsea and Aston Villa have been two of the biggest spenders in the Premier League this summer, and both sides look set to continue with making transfers.

The west London side remain in the hunt for a striker, with Chelsea working to sign Napoli’s♍ £55m-rated striker Victor Osimhen, whilst Villa lead the chase to sign Liverpool defenꦇder Joe Gomez, who could j🃏oin Unai Eme♈ry’s side before Friday’s deadline.

Given how much both teams have already spent this summer, some departures are also likely to be in order, with Villa already linked with a move for Raheem Sterling as Chelsea look to offload the England international.

And the Blues could now move for a Villa star if they fail to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea could revive interest in Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran

According to , Chelsea could return to Villa for Jhon Duran if Enzo Maresca’s side miss out on signing Osimhen, with the report stating that the Colombia international is open to leaving Villa Park for the two-time UEFA Champions League winnersꦑ.

Lauded by Emery as a ‘special’ talent via , West Ham have also moved for Duran this summe🌜r, with the South American prosp๊ect highly expected to leave Villa amid so much interest from Premier League teams.

Having weathered the storm, though, it had looked like Duran will remain with Villa heading out of the summer transfer window, yet Chelsea could again derail such plans if their bid for ꩵOsimhen falls though in the coming days.

Indeed, the transfer saga revolving around Duran has been a long and arduous one, and f🅷or Villa fans, they will be happy to see the back of this window given how much speculation has surrounded the 20-year-old attacker.
