- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey

Enzo Maresca took over at Stamford Bridge following Mauricio Pochettino’s exit and the Blues have not looked back since.
Chelsea are currently sat up in fifth place and just one-point behind third-placed Arsenal with the likes of Cole Palmer’s form impressing Alan Shearer on the weekend.
Only Manchester City (20) have scored more than Chelsea’s 19 in the Premier League this season, but the Londoners continue to monitor potential attacking additions.
TBR Football understands Chelsea retain an interest in Victor Osimhen and are regularly checking on the Galatasaray striker.

The Nigeria international marked one of the late transfer sagas in the summer’s transfer window as he eventually left Napoli for Galatasaray on loan.

John Obi Mikel admitted Osimhen wanted to join Chelsea
It was not just Chelsea who were in the hunt for the 25-year-old with Arsenal also interested in Osimhen over the summer.
but his long-term future is still up in the air with Napoli moving on by signing Romelu Lukaku.
However, former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel admitted on The Obi One Podcast that Osimhen wanted to move to Stamford Bridge.
“Both sides really played their part in terms of getting the deal done, and I commend Chelsea for that because I can see their ambition of where they want to take this club now and also on Victor’s side, how much he really wanted to come to the club,” said Mikel.
With Osimhen’s future set to be thrown back under the spotlight next summer, it seems the Blues are going to be well aware of his situation.
