Willian༒ immediately became a fan favourite at Chelsea – having rejected Tottenham before signing a contract at Stamford Bridge, despite even completing a medical with Spurs.

The Brazilian went on to make 234 Premier League appearances for the Blues – scoring 37 goals to just🌞 creep into this list, although Cole Palmer is only one strike behind at the time of writing.

After Chelsea, the South American actually moved across London to join Arsenal, but the Gunners eventually released Willian as he failed to make an impact.

Nicolas Anelka𝓀 arrived at Chelsea in a £15m move from Bolton back in January 2008 – eventually making a big impact in west London.

꧒The Frenchman scored 38 goals in 125 Premier League appearances for the Blues – with 19 of those coming in the 2008/09 campaign as he lifted the Golden Boot award.

ꦆDiego Costa took west London by storm – pretty much immediately after the Spain international’s £32m move from Atletico Madrid in July 2014.

🐠After scoring against Leicester on his Premier League debut, the Brazil-born striker went on to net 52 goals in just 89 appearances for Chelsea in England’s top-flight, a superb record, to say the least.

😼Like Anelka, Eidur Gudjohnsen also arrived at Chelsea in a move from Bolton.

♐The Icelandic forward racked up 186 Premier League appearances for the Blues from 2000 to 2006 – scoring 54 goals.

The aforementioned Zola – who adores Palmer – was not just an effective goalscorer for Chelsea.

💟With 59 goals in 229 Premier League games in blue, the Italian wizard also famously twisted Jamie Carragher in knots, as he did on several other occasions to equally unfortunate defenders.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink🔯 averaged roughly a goal every two games across 136 Premier League appearances for Chelsea.

ꦉThe Dutchman bagged 69 goals in that period of time, while also setting up a further 27.

Eden Hazard

Hazard was arguably theꩵ most exciting talent in Europe when he opted to join Chelsea in a £32m move from Lille back in June 2012 – a statement signing given the fact he had the choice of Manchester United or Manchester City too.

ꦦThe mesmeric attacker went on to score 85 goals in 245 Premier League appearances for the Blues, also recording 54 assists as he helped Chelsea win two Premier League titles.

൲Curtis Jones even said Hazard is better than Mohamed Salah♊ at Liverpool – a bold statement seeing as the England international and the Egypt international are currently teammates at Anfield!

It takes something special for a midfielder to be a club’s record goalscorer, but Frank Lampard certainly was special.
