Charlie Austin claims that Leeds star Stuart Dallas goes under the radar

Charlie Austin has claimed that Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas is someone who goes under the radar at Elland Road.

Dallas, 30, has been one of the outstanding individuals this campaign for the Whites among a superb collective effort.

The Northern Ireland international perhaps stands out due to the fact he’s one of the most versatile players in the entire Premier League.

He spent large parts of the first half of the season impressing at full-back, but in recent months has more commonly been used as a central midfielder to great effect.

Aside from covering every blade of grass during 90 minutes with his non-stop running, he’s also proven to be a major goal threat.

He’s scored eight goals in 37 league appearances, with the final game of the season at home to West Brom on Sunday.

On-loan QPR striker Austin, who was speaking on , feels he’s underappreciated by neutrals.

“I think a player that goes under the radar, not for Leeds fans, but for a lot of people, is Stuart Dallas,” he said.

“I think what he brings to them, he can play any position that Bielsa asks him, and what he does for Leeds football club is unreal.”

TBR’s View:

Dallas will give you at least a 7/10 performance every week, which is why he’s one of the favourites under manager Marcelo Bielsa.

He’s at the peak of his powers now where he’s effecting every game he plays in regardless of the position he’s in.

Those who watch Leeds on a weekly basis are fully aware of the qualities Dallas possesses with his consistently great displays, and he’s certainly got massive respect from his peers.
