that he reckons reported Celtic target Jordon Ibe once had more potential to shine than Raheem Sterling did – with all three teammates at Liverpool.
that Celtic can sign 24-year-old Ibe from Bournemouth for nothing this summer, after Bournemouth informed the ex-Liverpool star that they would not be extending his £40,000-a-week deal.
Ibe, who cost Bournemouth a whopping £15million () in July 2016, has played just 92 times for Bournemouth in the four years he has spent at the club – scoring just five goals and laying on only nine assists.
Despite his fall from grace after shining in his early years with Liverpool, Ibe has become a target for Celtic and with the summer promising to see cut-price deals and free transfers galore – Ibe could be signed by Celtic. Adam gave his verdict.

“He [Sterling] was unbelievable, you could tell something was different,” “But I actually thought Jordon Ibe should have done better that what he’s done. He had everything, strong, quick, powerful, good player.
“But he just never fulfilled his potential, whereas Raheem has gone on to a different level.”
TBR’s view – Would Ibe still be a good signing for Celtic?
What Ibe needs is first-team football, and the confidence in him to be a regular week in, week out. With Mo Elyounoussi likely to return to Celtic, Marian Shved struggling to shine and James Forrest the only in-form winger, Celtic need a wide man.
But Ibe would be a strong addition. No, he has not reached his potential but he is still only 24 years of age and has suffered during his time at Bournemouth, like many other big-money English signings – Dom Solanke for example.
Given plenty of game time to shine at Celtic, Ibe can help the Hoops – and would be a bargain for nothing.
