Charlie Adam reacts on Twitter to Rangers signing Ryan Kent

Charlie Adam is hopeful that Ryan Kent can repeat his previous form at Ibrox after he completed a permanent move to Rangers.

Steven Gerrard’s team announced a permanent deal had been wrapped up for the 22-year-old on deadline day, which has cost the Scottish outfit a sizeable £7million (.

The winger spent last season with the Gers on loan from Liverpool, but the Merseyside club have now sanctioned his permanent sale.

Kent played 43 times across all competitions last season for Rangers, scoring six goals and supplying nine assists in return.

Ex-Rangers midfielder Adam has reacted to Kent’s arrival and believes he’s a “huge investment” for the club to make.

TBR’s View:

Rangers fans have been crying out for Kent to join throughout the summer window and they finally got a deal over the line for him on deadline day just in the knick of time.

The dazzling wide player showed what he can do last season during his loan spell at Ibrox and he can surely hit the ground running after the international break.

He will inject some extra quality in wide areas and give the Gers even more of an attacking threat.

But the only difference now from his first spell is that he has the pressure of a big price tag and questions will be asked if he endures a tough spell.
