Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson rave about one Liverpool player after Burnley win
Former and current Liverpool midfielders Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson have been raving about Nat Phillips after the defender’s display against Burnley on Wednesday night.
Phillips struck his to hand Jurgen Klopp’s side a two-goal lead at Turf Moor, to build on the momentum gained from Roberto Firmino’s first half opener.

Phillips certainly deserved the praise that flooded his way following Wednesday night’s win over Burnley, having epitomised Liverpool’s efforts at Turf Moor and why he has received Klopp’s backing this season by producing a commanding display.
The defender flourished at both ends of the pitch to give the Reds the chance to move back into the top-four and go into the final day of the season able to claim a Champions League place, while neutralising Burnley’s hopes of a comeback with his first career senior goal.
No Liverpool player attempted (4) or took possession with more tackles (3) than Phillips, who also provided a game-high nine clearances and won a game-high 12 defensive aerial duels, with twice as many as any other player for either side, per .
If Phillips can replicate that performance when Liverpool host Crystal Palace on Sunday, then Klopp should feel confident in securing Champions League football for another season.
