Cesc Fabregas shares his prediction for Arsenal’s trip to Sheffield United tomorrow night
Former Arsenal player Cesc Fabregas has now been providing his prediction for Monday’s visit to face Sheffield United.
Mikel Arteta’s men will arrive at Bramall Lane having won six Premier League games in a row, a stark contrast to their hosts.
And whilst Arsenal are hoping to win their first league title since the 2003/04 season, Chris Wilder’s men are simply trying to stay in the division.
The Blades are now 11 points from safety, albeit with a game in hand.
And ahead of Monday night’s clash, Cesc Fabregas has been discussing the chances on an upset on the ‘’ podcast.
Fabregas thought that although Arsenal would be under increased pressure at Sheffield United, they would still come away with the win.

Discussing the added weight of the title challenge, Fabregas thought his former club would be able to cope.
He said: “It shouldn’t [affect the players] but unfortunately, mentally, it works this way.
“I see Arsenal at the moment as too strong. I see them confident.
“I know they lost against Porto, but I think in the Premier League nowadays they are two levels up and I believe that they know exactly what they’re doing.
“I’m sure they believe, and they’re pushing from the staff point of view to win this game more than anything because these games win titles.
“It’s very different to go in my day to Stoke City on Saturday three o’clock then Monday night football.
“We go back to perceptions, to the humidity, the night time to approach the games, the travelling, the long wait for the game, these little things, knowing exactly what the opponents have done.
“If they have won they put pressure on you.
“There’s a bit of everything but, at the moment, I see Arsenal a little bit too strong to be dropping points there.”
Decisions to make
Although Fabregas is quite confident that Arsenal will overcome Sheffield United on this occasion, Mikel Arteta will be very keen to avoid any complacency.
And perhaps the Arsenal boss is considering a change or two.
Jakub Kiwior deserves to keep his spot at left-back, but could be under pressure if Oleksandr Zinchenko is fit.
Similarly, it doesn’t seem as if Leandro Trossard or Kai Havertz should vacate their spot as a false nine, but it is also hard to leave Gabriel Jesus out.
All that being said, Arsenal do have a certain starter at the back who is now said to be worth more than Trent Alexander-Arnold.
