Cesc Fabregas made a name for himself at Arsenal during eight impressive years in north London.

Como now looking to sign Sergi Roberto amid Arsenal links
Gianluca Di Marzio now states that Fabregas has spoken to Sergi Roberto about joining Como this summer – after the Spaniard’s contract with Barcelona expired.
The Spain international is a free agent for the first time in his career following 18 successful years at Barcelona.
It comes after claimed that Arsenal have approached Roberto – with Edu Gaspar holding talks over a deal to bring the midfielder to the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer.

The 32-year-old is capable of shining at right-back or in central midfield, making 24 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring three goals while also providing three assists.
Mikel Arteta and Edu could turn to another free agent
If Fabregas is successful in his attempts to bring Roberto to Como, Mikel Arteta and Edu could sign another free agent to bolster the midfield department – Adrien Rabiot.
The France international is currently out of contract after his deal with Juventus expired.
A story from states that Arteta admires Rabiot and believes the Frenchman’s experience could benefit the Gunners – so a deal is certainly possible as we approach transfer deadline day on Friday 30th August.

It should be noted that one of Roberto or Rabiot could potentially arrive after a deal to sign Mikel Merino is finalised.
Arsenal are expected to sign the Real Sociedad No.8 within the next 24 hours – according to – with Arteta then expecting Edu to complete one more deal before the window shuts.
