Cesc Fabregas raves about another ‘special’ Arsenal player other than Declan Rice after Real Madrid win

Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Real Madrid on Tuesday evening will live long in the memory for Gunners fans across the world.

Indeed, this was the performance of a lifetime from Arsenal as the north London club dismantled the reigning European champions.

Of course, Declan Rice received the most plaudits after his two incredible free-kicks against Madrid, but speaking to Amazon Prime, Cesc Fabregas has singled out another Arsenal player for praise.

Indeed, Fabregas hailed Bukayo Saka for his performance against Madrid, claiming that the winger deserves a special mention for his showing against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

Cesc Fabregas hails Bukayo Saka

Fabregas spoke about Saka’s performance against Madrid.

The pundit says that far too often players put in monotonous performances in big games, but Saka took this game by the scruff of the neck and made things happen.

Real Madrid fans were even impressed by Saka.

Cesc Fabregas gives a special mention to Bukayo Saka for his performance against Real Madrid 💫

“For me, Bukayo Saka, special mention because in football you see games all of the time and it’s the same thing and the same thing, when you see a special talent like that, in the short space of time since he came back, to do what he did tonight against a top team like Real Madrid, hats off to him, hopefully he will be a top player for the future of Arsenal,” Fabregas said.

Bukayo Saka stats vs Real Madrid

Fabregas wanted to give a special mention to Saka after his performance against Real Madrid, and it’s not hard to understand why.

This was just Saka’s third game back in action after a lengthy injury layoff, and he looked as sharp as ever.

Saka caused all sorts of problems for Madrid. In fact, he was the player fouled on both occasions before Declan Rice’s spectacular free kick goals.

Saka’s stats from the day are decent, but they certainly don’t tell the full story of how good he was.

Arsenal have all-but booked their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League, and Saka may well be closing in on helping the Gunners win the top honour in Europe for the first time in their history.
